After several years of research and debate, WHO (World Health Organization) has decided to change the name and approach given to transsexuality. Until the year 2017 it was considered a disorder of sexuality. From 2018 it is recognized as a condition related to sexual health. Its new denomination is GENDER INCONGRUENCE and it refers to the difference that exists between the gender with which the person is identified and the sex assigned at birth.
