Is a procedure that reshapes and enhances the gluteal area, providing an uplifted and shapelier buttock profile. It can be done by injecting the fat aspirated during liposuction (Brazilian butt lift), or with buttock silicone implants.

When the patient is very thin and does not have enough fat, it is recommended to increase the size of the gluteus with implants.

It is important that patients understand that these are the only two methods recommended by national and international societies of Plastic Surgery. There are unscrupulous people who inject other solutions into the buttocks like industrial silicone or other unregulated products, commonly known as biopolymers, which lead to infection, permanent deformity and even death.
